"Domestic violence and emotional abuse are behaviors used by one person in a relationship to control the other. Partners may be married or not married; heterosexual, gay, or lesbian; living together, separated or dating." - domesticviolence.org
In the state of Maine, domestic violence is the leading cause of homicide.
Maine is my home... I have been up and down many roads in life and I have lived through events that have scared me and even tested my own self worth... and I have done things that I am not proud of. Although I wish these events had never occurred, they have shaped my life and made me the person I am today. The past cannot be changed, but we can learn from it and change ourselves. My company's involvement reflect my own experiences... in hopes that others do not have to experience them.
